The majority of recent experience has been inside the Triangle region of North Carolina, abbreviated #MoCaApHoFu, Morrisville, Cary, Apex, Holly Springs, and Fuquay-Varina. About a hundred projects beyond are from Durham to Raleigh, Mebane to Greenville, and Fayetteville to Butner, with a few farther from Bath to Black Mountain.

After decades of large, corporate architecture, SteveHallArchitecture is now in it's sixth year of practice with over a hundred completed efforts of its own. Favorites involve challenges with complex aesthetics, engineering, and logistics.

Special projects include pedestrian bridges, a large translucent canopy, community and non-profit renovations for youth and counseling, and unique biotech and laboratory work spaces.

Commercial work has encompassed office and business, retail and restaurant, school classroom and auditorium, university laboratory, churches and community centers, medical office and healthcare, cafeteria and corporate canteen, site development and master planning, and exercise and martial arts studios.

Residential work requires significant effort to craft appropriately for their purpose and the character of the home. Typically 3D models are used to explore possibilities and refine the design. Experience has comprised modern homes, additions, extensive re-configurations and renovations, beach houses, pools and cabanas, sun rooms and attic renovations, and large multi-bay garage and shop additions.
