Enjoying creative challenges with complex aesthetic, engineering, and planning requirements, typical project types include:

High performance and building science expertise related to institutional and corporate biotech and research spaces, leaking building envelopes and associated problems, infectious disease laboratories, and clean rooms.

Special projects include shipping container cafe kiosks, pedestrian bridges, a large translucent canopy, community-based and non-profit renovations for youth and counseling, and unique biotech and laboratory spaces.

Commercial work includes renovation, additions, adaptive re-use, and new buildings. Many example projects are for office and business, retail and restaurant, school auditorium and classroom, university research, private laboratories, churches and community centers, medical office and healthcare, cafeteria and corporate canteen, site development and master planning, and exercise and martial arts studios.

Since founding in 2013, about half of SteveHallArchitecture projects are within the intra-Triangle region of North Carolina:  Morrisville, Cary, Apex, Holly Springs, and Fuquay-Varina (#MoCaApHoFu). Those beyond Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill range from Mebane to Greenville, Fayetteville to Butner, and a few farther, from Bath to Black Mountain.
