Enivronmental Research Laboratory
Coastal Plain areas of North Carolina have increasing interest in understanding the impact of environmental pollution in groundwater and dependent ecosystems. This laboratory at East Carolina University is designed to process and analysize field samples in support of this mission.
It includes research bench space positioned along the exterior glass for natural daylight and locates a prep lab, chemical fume hoods, storage freezers, and a sample preparation space inboard. It is supported by the Clean Room Isotope Laboratory. I was the Architect of Record for this while at Perkins and Will.
