Various Projects at Kerr Lake State Park

Nearly 30 different projects were components of work completed over five years at Kerr Lake State Park. In addition to the Administration Building and Visitor's Center and two Community Buildings, the projects included five different wash house buildings, a maintenance service building, campground renovations, playgrounds, a fishing pier, handicap walk, boat ramps, parking lots, traffic gates, and even a park entrance sign. I completed my architectural intership over the period of these projects with The Smith Sinnett Associates. A number of other design experts were part of the team contributing to its success, including George Finch Landscape Architects (now GF|BA), Lee Fleming, Gary Greene Consulting Engineers, and Gary VanPoole.
